Max Katz is a Senior Systems Engineer at Exadel, responsible for
technical support, training and customer care for the Exadel
product line. He also conducts online and onsite JavaServer Faces
and JBoss RichFaces trainings. With more than eight years of IT
experience, he brings a wide array of skills and experiences from
his technical and managerial positions. Mr. Katz holds a B.S. in
computer science from the University of California, Davis.
Sang Shin is presently working as a Java(tm) Technology Architect, Consultant, and Evangelist in Sun Microsystems. He frequently gives talks on various Java technologies such as Java EE (formerly J2EE), Java SE, Java ME, and Web application frameworks and Web services technologies to worldwide developer audience. He has given technical talks to about 30,000 Java developers in fifty countries. Whenever he finds time, he also teaches one of the three software engineering courses ("J2EE Programming", "Web Services programming", "XML" ) in Brandeis university in Massachusetts. He currently teaches "J2EE programming (with Passion!)" and "18-week Ajax programming (with Passion!)" online courses. The "18-week Ajax programming" course covers all the Ajax technologies including Dojo toolkit, Google Web Toolkit, Direct Web Remoting, jMaki, JavaServer Faces, JSON, and Phobos His online courses has more than 13,000 people enrolled from round the world.
